Ghana 2021 imports over US$?300 million (about 180,000 MT) worth of chicken annually, or the equivalent of 5 million chickens each week. The country's own production equates to about 58,000 MT, whereas national demand is about 400,000. In a quest to diversify, Dagbon Construction Limited has ventured into poultry farming. This is because the market is well established with continuous source of income throughout the year. Our main products are eggs and live birds which are picked up by third parties under a medium-term agreement. Our target market is mainly in the Northern Region of Ghana.
